Visits the University of Saint Joseph

中國音像與數字出版協會代表團於二零二四年十月九日下午拜訪澳門聖若瑟大學，代表團人員包括協會的數位音樂工作委員會副主任委員兼秘書長劉陽、教育培訓事業部顧問段豫龍、教育培訓事業部主任張暘及黃舒盈。聖若瑟大學方面由校監李斌生主教、教區天主教教育委員會主任陳庭鋒博士、副主任羅敬恆、學生事務副校長農韻淇博士、藝術及人文學院媒體藝術及科技系系主任João Brochado教授及企業培訓及項目發展主任兼終身學習處處長葉子恒先生出席。

On the afternoon of 9 October 2024, a delegation from the China Audio-video and Digital Publishing Association (CADPA) visited the University of Saint Joseph (USJ) in Macau. The delegation from the Digital Music Working Committee of CADPA included Liu Yang, Vice Chairman and Secretary-General; Duan Yulong, Advisor for the Education and Training Department; and Zhang Yang and Huang Shuying from the Education and Training Department. USJ was represented by the Chancellor, the Most Reverend Bishop Stephen Lee Bun-Sang; Dr. Stephen Chan Teng Fong and Mr. Anton Lo King Hang, Director and Deputy Director of the Diocesan Catholic Education Committee; Dr. Teresa Loong Wan Kei, Vice-Rector for Student Life; Professor João Brochado, Head of the Department of Media, Art and Technology; and Mr. Emil Marques, Co-ordinator for Executive Training Programmes and Lifelong Learning.

代表團介紹了協會自成立以來在音像與數字出版業的政策研究、行業標準制定、智慧財產權保護及專業人才培訓等方面的重要工作，以及包括數位音樂工作委員會在內的十四個分支委員會，涵蓋並推動了包括遊戲、音樂及自媒體在內的多個市場。代表團表示協會不僅僅是監管有關領域，更積極促進業務資訊的交流和技術的推廣，為會員提供信息和政策建議。他們對"產學研用"的聯繫尤為重視，表示協會重點推動“用”的應用層面，並期望未來能為澳門作出貢獻，培養更多藝術、電影及短片創作的優秀人才。

The delegation introduced the association’s key contributions since its establishment, focusing on policy research, setting and monitoring industry standards, protecting intellectual property, and training professionals in the audio-video and digital publishing industries. They also highlighted the 14 branch committees under the association, such as their Digital Music Working Committee, and that the Committees actively support and promote their respective markets, including gaming, music, and self-media. The delegation emphasised that the association not only regulates these fields but also actively fosters business information exchange and technology promotion, providing policy advice to its enterprise members. They are particularly focused on the application phase of the “Apply, Research, Academic and Industry” cycle and expressed their wish to contribute to the development of Macao by nurturing talents in arts, film, and short video production.

李斌生主教對協會在推動產業發展及培養人才方面的努力表示高度讚賞，並指出聖若瑟大學同樣致力於培養未來的藝術及媒體創作者，雙方在人才培養的目標上有共同的願景。然而，李主教也強調了道德教育的重要性，特別是對於遊戲及媒體創作的內容，表示深切關注有可能出現暴力及各種不良行為的影響，呼籲在培養人才的同時，必須重視道德價值的引導。

The Bishop appreciated the association for its efforts in promoting industry development and nurturing talent, and noted that the University of Saint Joseph is equally committed to cultivating future creators in the arts and media. He acknowledged the shared vision between both parties in talent development but emphasised the importance of moral education, particularly regarding the contents in games and media, where there is deep concern about the potential for promotion of violence and negative behaviours. He called for moral values to guide the process of talent cultivation.

João Brochado教授隨後介紹了聖若瑟大學藝術及人文學院在數碼媒體製作、視覺傳播應用等領域的教學設施與發展方向，強調學系如何通過專業設施與課程，培養具備創新能力的媒體專業人才。

Professor João Brochado then introduced the teaching facilities and development directions of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities at USJ, highlighting its focus on digital media production and visual communication. He elaborated on how the faculty’s advanced facilities and curricula are designed to nurture students into innovative media professionals.

此次會談進一步加強了雙方的聯繫，並為未來在藝術、媒體及數字出版的教育及培訓領域合作打下了良好的基礎。

This meeting further strengthened the connection between both parties and laid a solid foundation for future collaboration in education and training within the fields of arts, media, and digital publishing.
