玫瑰月的教會傳統
按傳統習慣，教會在十月「玫瑰月」鼓勵信友勤念玫瑰經，求聖母瑪利亞為我們轉禱，指導我們信靠耶穌基督，並效法聖母，在一切事情上信賴天主，在困難中懷有希望，在生活中見證天主的愛。
特別響應教宗於10月11日共同誦念玫瑰經為世界和平祈禱
教宗良十四世在九月底的公開接見活動中，呼籲信友在十月玫瑰月，以個人、家庭或團體，每天誦念玫瑰經，為世界和平祈求。
今年特別在10月11日「禧年聖母靈修日」，教宗帶領眾多聖殿院長、聖殿人員，以及各個運動、善會和不同的聖母祈禱團體成員，一起在羅馬時間晚上6:00，在聖伯多祿大殿誦念玫瑰經，為世界和平祈禱，同時也紀念第二次梵蒂岡大公會議1962年10月11日開幕週年。
在這個「禧年聖母靈修日」中，伯多祿廣場會迎接化地瑪聖母的原始聖像，以回應聖母在1917年在葡萄牙花地瑪向牧童顯現時，曾請求人們「每天誦念玫瑰經，以獲得世界和平與戰爭的終結」。
聯合澳門的信友共同祈禱
澳門教區也呼籲信友在十月玫瑰月，以個人、家庭或團體，每天誦念玫瑰經，為世界和平祈求，也特別在2025年10月11日「禧年聖母靈修日」，澳門時間晚上6:00，於聖若瑟修院聖堂，誦念玫瑰經、晚課、聖體降福，鼓勵信友參與。

The Church’s Devotional Tradition in the Month of the Rosary
As a devotional tradition, the Church encourages the faithful to pray the Rosary diligently throughout the month of October, known as the Month of the Rosary. Through this devotion, we ask the Blessed Virgin Mary to intercede for us, to guide us in placing our trust in Jesus Christ, and to imitate her example by entrusting all things to God, nurturing hope in times of trial, and bearing witness to God’s love in our daily lives.
Responding to the Holy Father’s Invitation to Pray the Rosary for Peace on 11th October
At a public audience held in late September, Pope Leo XIV called upon the faithful to pray the Rosary daily—whether individually, as families, or in groups—throughout the Month of the Rosary, offering this prayer for the intention of world peace.
This year, on 11th October, the Church will observe the Jubilee Marian Spirituality. On this day, the Holy Father will lead a solemn recitation of the Rosary at 6:00 PM Rome time in St. Peter’s Basilica, joined by rectors and staff of Marian basilicas, members of various movements, associations, and Marian prayer groups. This gathering will also commemorate the anniversary of the opening of the Second Vatican Council on 11th October, 1962.
As part of this Jubilee celebration, the original statue of Our Lady of Fatima will be welcomed into St. Peter’s Square, recalling the Blessed Mother’s 1917 apparitions in Fatima, Portugal, where she urged the faithful to “pray the Rosary every day to obtain peace for the world and the end of war.”
Prayer in union with the Faithful of Macau
The Diocese of Macau likewise invites all faithful to join in daily recitation of the Rosary throughout October—individually, with family, or in community—praying earnestly for peace in the world. In particular, on 11th October 2025, the Jubilee of Marian Spirituality, a special prayer gathering will be held at 6:00 PM Macau time in the chapel of St. Joseph’s Seminary, including the Rosary, Vespers, and Eucharistic Benediction. The faithful are encouraged to participate.
