適逢天主教澳門教區成立450週年，教區天主教教育委員會與聖若瑟大學教育學院教師專業發展中心聯合舉辦兩項學術活動。該系列活動以「天主教教育的昨天、今天與明天」為主題，分別於二零二六年五月十五日及十六日一連兩天在聖大青洲校舍舉行「天主教教育領航者學術研討會」及「港澳天主教學校領導圓桌會議」，匯聚鄰近地區多名教育學者及天主教中、小學和幼稚園校長，共同回顧天主教的教育使命。同時更藉著分享各地教育事業的發展歷程以及現今辦學的實際情況，增進各地天主教教育界之間的交流與連繫。

To mark the 450^th anniversary of the Catholic Diocese of Macau, the Diocesan Catholic Education Commission (CDEC), in collaboration with the Teachers’ Professional Development Centre of the School of Education at the University of Saint Joseph (USJ), organised a two-day series of academic events under the theme “Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow of Catholic Education.” Held on 15 and 16 May at the Ilha Verde Campus of USJ, the Academic Conference for Leaders in Catholic Education and the Roundtable for Hong Kong–Macau Catholic School Leaders brought together scholars and Catholic school leaders from neighbouring regions. The events provided a platform to reflect on the educational mission of the Holy Church, while fostering exchange and collaboration through sharing developments in Catholic education and contemporary educational practices.

首天「天主教教育領航者學術研討會」開幕啟動禮由天主教澳門教區首牧李斌生主教主持，出席的嘉賓陣容鼎盛，包括教育及青年發展局阮佩賢副局長、中聯辦教育與青年工作部張傳偉處長、天主教香港教區教育事務主教代表龔廣培先生、澳門天主教學校聯會會長周伯輝神父、中華教育會鄭杰釗理事長、澳門理工大學嚴肇基校長、澳門教育研究促進會許江雄會長、澳門立法會議員高錦輝先生、澳門聖若瑟大學代校長蘇輝道博士、教區總務長劉炎新神父及秘書長劉偉傑神父，以及合辦單位代表聖若瑟大學教育學院鄭蘊雯院長和天主教教育委員會辦事處主任陳庭鋒博士。

The initiation ceremony of the conference on 15 May was officiated by the Most Reverend D. Stephen Lee Bun Sang, Bishop of Macau. Distinguished guests in attendance included Ms Iun Pui Iun, Deputy Director of the Education and Youth Development Bureau (DSEDJ); Mr. Zhang Chuanwei, Division Rank Official of the Education and Youth Affairs Department of the Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in the Macau SAR; Mr. Joseph Kung Kwong Pui, Episcopal Delegate for Education of the Catholic Diocese of Hong Kong; Fr Joseph Chow Pak Fai, President of the Macau Catholic Schools Association (MCSA); Mr. Zheng Jiezhao, chairman of The Chinese Educators Association; Professor Marcus Im Sio Kei, Rector of Macao Polytechnic University (MPU); Mr. Hoi Kong Hong, President of Macau Association for the Promotion of Education Research; Dr. Kou Kam Fai, Member of the Legislative Assembly of Macau; Dr Alejandro Salcedo Garcia, Acting Rector of the University of Saint Joseph; Cón. João Evangelista Lau Him Sang, Procurator of the Catholic Diocese of Macau; Rev. Dr. Cyril Jerome Law, Jr., Chancellor of the Catholic Diocese of Macau; as well as representatives of the organising bodies, including Professor Isabel Tchiang Van Man, Dean of the School of Education at USJ, and Dr Stephen Chan Teng Fong, Director of the CDEC Office.

李主教於開幕典禮致歡迎辭時表示，慶祝教區成立450週年是一個回顧、反思與展望的重要里程碑。他強調在不斷變化的時代中，雖然社會價值與學生面臨的挑戰在變，但天主教教育源自耶穌基督本身的根基始終不變。針對現今世代關注的人工智能發展，李主教指出，儘管科技正在改變教與學的模式，但教育最核心的價值依然在於人與人之間的關係。他勉勵教育工作者應秉持陪伴與引導的初心，讓學生在充滿理解與尊重的愛中成長，這亦是天主教學校推動核心價值教育、培育學生品格與德行的根本任務。

In his welcome address, Bishop Stephen Lee noted that the 450^th anniversary of the Diocese is an important milestone for reflection and renewal. He emphasised that while social values and the challenges faced by students continue to evolve, the foundation of Catholic education, rooted in Jesus Christ, remains unchanged. Addressing contemporary concerns regarding the development of artificial intelligence, Bishop Lee highlighted that, despite the transformation of teaching and learning models brought about by technological advancement, the core of education remains grounded in human relationships. He encouraged educators to remain committed to accompaniment and guidance, enabling students to grow in an environment of understanding and respect. This, he stressed, lies at the heart of the mission of Catholic schools in promoting core values education and in nurturing students’ character and virtues.

於五月十五日舉行的「天主教教育領航者學術研討會」邀請了多位知名學者作專題分享，包括靜宜大學林思伶校長、華南師範大學代國慶教授、澳門大學黃素君教授及香港中文大學謝均才教授。學者們分別就天主教教育的信仰價值、歷史文獻的跨文化編寫、當代天主教學校身分再現，以及宗教教科書的延續與遞變等範疇進行演說，並與在場嘉賓及與會者進行互動交流。

The Academic Conference for Leaders in Catholic Education featured keynote presentations by distinguished scholars, including President Lucia Lin Shih-Ling of Providence University, Professor Dai Guoqing of South China Normal University, Professor Teresa Vong Sou Kuan of the University of Macau, and Professor Thomas Tse Kwan Choi of the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Their presentations addressed themes such as the faith foundations of Catholic education, cross-cultural textual traditions in Catechism, the contemporary identity of Catholic schools, and developments in local religious textbooks. The sessions also included interactive exchanges with participants.

而於五月十六日舉行的「港澳天主教學校領導圓桌會議」則邀得港澳兩地共九位校長就五項核心教育議題展開討論。

The Roundtable for Hong Kong–Macau Catholic School Leaders, held on 16 May, brought together nine principals from Hong Kong and Macau to engage in in-depth discussion on five key educational themes.

參與校長包括香港代表：張作芳校長（油蔴地天主教小學）、陳麗珠校長（聖博德天主教小學［蒲崗村道］）、郭富華校長（天主教培聖中學）、劉瑤紅校長（潔心林炳炎中學）、彭耀鈞校長（明愛莊月明中學）；以及澳門代表：喬樹勇校長（聖若瑟教區中學六校）、聖保祿學校代表、張慧玲校長（利瑪竇中學）、吳秀慧校長（聖羅撒英文中學）、羅婉明修女（嘉諾撒聖心中學）。會議由港澳校長代表針對天主教教育核心價值在校全面實踐、宗教教育的教學與培育（正規與非正規課程）雙軌發展、推動學生走向全人發展與成長、學校行政及領導人員梯隊建設及AI時代下天主教學校轉型與教學改革的五大議題，分享了各自累積多年的獨到經驗與看法，其後更透過討論環節及嘉賓總結深化議題。活動期望透過港澳教育領航人的實踐分享，集結成群體智慧，為天主教教育的具體發展注入新思維，從而探索出方向上更多的可能性。

Participating principals included the following representatives from Hong Kong: Principal Cheung Chok Fong (Yaumati Catholic Primary School), Principal Chan Lai Chu (St. Patrick’s Catholic Primary School-Po Kong Village Road), Principal Kwok Fu Wah (Pui Shing Catholic Secondary School), Principal Lau Yiu Hung (Kit Sam Lam Bing Yim Secondary School), and Principal Pang Yiu Kwan (Caritas Chong Yuet Ming Secondary School); as well as representatives from Macau: Principal Samuel Kio Su Iong (Colégio Diocesano de São José 6), representative of Escola São Paulo, Principal Irene Cheong Wai Ling (Colégio Mateus Ricci), Principal Candy Ng Sao Wai (Colégio de Santa Rosa de Lima - Secção Inglesa), and Sr Law Yuen Ming (Colégio do Sagrado Coração de Jesus). During the roundtable, the participating principals shared their accumulated experience and insights on five key areas: the implementation of core values in Catholic education across the whole school; the dual-track development of religious education and formation in both formal and co-curricular contexts; the promotion of students’ holistic development; leadership succession and capacity building in school administration; and the transformation and pedagogical reform of Catholic schools in the age of artificial intelligence. The discussions were further enriched through interactive exchanges and concluding reflections. The roundtable aimed to draw upon the collective wisdom of Catholic school leaders in Hong Kong and Macau, translating practical experience into shared insight, and exploring new directions for the continued development of Catholic education.

經歷兩天內容豐富的學術交流後，本次活動以閉幕彌撒圓滿結束。彌撒特別邀得鮑思高慈幼會葉泰浩神父主祭，眾人同心為港澳地區的天主教教育事工祈求上主降福。彌撒禮成後，全體與會代表移步至聖十架小堂合影留念，為本次學術活動劃上圓滿句號。

After two days of enriching academic exchange, the event was brought to a fitting close with a closing Mass. The Mass was celebrated by Fr. Martin Yip Tai-Ho, SDB, with all present praying together for God’s blessing upon Catholic education in Hong Kong and Macao. Following the Mass, all participating delegates proceeded to the Chapel of the Holy Cross for a group photograph, bringing this academic event to a successful conclusion.

教區天主教教育委員會致力於促進本澳教區學校及修會學校間的交流與協作，透過舉辦研討會及提供特定目標及方向的培訓活動，推動實現天主教全人教育的理念，為澳門各天主教學校之宗教教育、倫理教育及福傳提供支援與方向。

The Diocesan Catholic Education Commission remains committed to strengthening collaboration among diocesan and religious schools in Macau. Through the organisation of conferences and targeted professional development initiatives, the CDEC continues to promote the vision of holistic Catholic education, providing guidance and support for religious education, moral formation, and evangelisation in Catholic schools across the Diocese.
