CDEC Office organised induction training for parent members of
Diocesan School Management Committees
為進一步擴大學校持份者參與學校運作管理，並就學校發展引入更多元角度的意見，在二零二二至二零二三學年，教區屬下九所學校將各自在其校董會加入一名在校學生之家長成為成員。
To further expand the participation of school stakeholders in school management and to introduce more diversified views on school development, each of the nine Diocesan Schools has planned to include a new member whose child is a current student of the school in its School Management Committee (SMC) by the start of the 2022/2023 school year.
於二零二二年六月十一日上午，教區天主教教育委員會辦事處假教區中心多功能會議室，為該九名即將成為教區學校校董會新成員的家長安排了一次導入培訓，深入淺出地一連串介紹了「天主教教育的理念與使命」、「《非高等教育私立學校通則》簡介和澳門非高等教育概況」、以及「教區學校校董會成員的參與及職能」三個主題，以協助各成員更了解學校文化及自身本分，在各校的校董會中得以獻言建策。
For this arrangement, the Office of the Diocesan Catholic Education Commission organised an induction session on 11 June 2022 at the multi-purpose meeting room of the Diocesan Centre for the nine parents who are to become new members of the SMCs for respective Diocesan schools, with a series of in-depth presentations on the three topics of "Principles and Mission of Catholic Education", "Introduction to the ‘Statute of Non-Tertiary Private Schools’ and an Overview of the Non-Tertiary Education in Macao”, "Participation and Responsibilities of Diocesan SMC Members". The training is expected to help members better understand the Catholic school culture and their own roles, in order to contribute to the SMCs they are going to serve soon.
培訓講座首先由教區天主教教育委員會辦事處主任陳庭鋒博士致歡迎詞，在李斌生主教帶領出席嘉賓及成員祈禱後講座正式開始。是次導入培訓特別邀得李斌生主教主講「天主教教育的理念與使命」的部份，而其餘兩個主題則分別由兩位第三屆教區天主教教育委員會委員：聖保祿學校代校監、聖若瑟教區中學第五校校董會成員郭小麗博士；以及聖瑪大肋納學校校監、聖德蘭學校校董會成員高燕嫦女士主講。
The training session commenced with the welcoming address by Dr. Stephen Chan Teng-Fong, Director of the Office of C.D.E.C., followed by the prayer led by the Reverend Bishop Stephen Lee Bun-Sang. The talk on the topic "Principles and Mission of Catholic Education" was delivered by the Reverend Bishop himself, while the latter two topics were presented respectively by two of the third-term members of the Diocesan Catholic Education Commission: Dr. Kuok Sio Lai, who is also the Acting Supervisor of Escola São Paulo (E.S.P.) and SMC member of Colégio Diocesano de São José Quinto Edifício (C.D.S.J.5); and Ms. Kou In Seong, Supervisor of Escola de Santa Madalena and SMC member of Escola de Santa Teresa do Menino Jesus.
