因應上世紀在科技、文化、經濟及政治環境的變化，全球教育環境亦經歷了重大且迅速的變遷。自1965年天主教梵蒂岡教廷公佈《天主教教育》宣言以來，為進一步協助各天主教學校堅守天主教教育的原則及目標，以及訂立與時並進的天主教教育方針，教廷天主教教育部差不多每十年便發佈一份教育文獻。以下列出部份有關文獻，供澳門天主教學校同工參考。建議按年份順序從最早的文獻開始閱讀。

With constant changes in technology, culture, economic and political environment, the global education environment has undergone major and rapid changes over the past Century. Since the promulgation of the "Declaration on Christian Education" (Gravissimum Educationis) in 1965 during the Second Vatican Council, the Congregation for Catholic Education (Congregatio de Institutione Catholica) has been publishing one directive document about every decade to keep policies and principles of Catholic Education abreast of the times, as well as to help Catholic Schools define clearer objectives under all the changes. We have included selected pieces from such documents for the perusal of our fellow Educators from Catholic Schools of Macao. It is highly recommended to read from the earliest document according to the chronological order.
