Diocesan School Leaders Gather for Group Photographs
On the afternoon of 13 July 2023, leaders from the nine Diocesan Schools gathered at the Church entrance of Saint Joseph's Seminary for a collective photography session to celebrate the conclusion of the 2022/2023 school year. This involved Supervisors, Principals and Vice-Principals from the Colégio Diocesano de São José (C.D.S.J.), Colégio Diocesano de São José 5 (C.D.S.J.5), Colégio Diocesano de São José 6 (C.D.S.J.6), Escola São Paulo (E.S.P.), Escola de Santa Madalena, Escola de Santa Teresa do Menino Jesus, Escola Dom João Paulino (E.D.J.P.), English and Chinese Sections of Colégio de Santa Rosa de Lima (S.R.L.).
The Diocesan School Leadership Team for this academic year consists of nine principals and sixteen vice-principals, collectively steering 26 registered sections of campuses across the nine local non-tertiary private schools in Macao. Dr. Stephen Chan Teng Fong, who is the Director of the Office of the Diocesan Catholic Education Commission and the co-ordinator of this event, asserted the critical role that school leaders play in steering the progress and growth of their schools. He emphasised the importance of open dialogue, exchange of ideas, and resource sharing among the team members as a powerful means to augment the overall quality of the Diocese's educational services. Furthermore, he highlighted that the Commission will continue to foster both intra-school and inter-school communication together with external communities. This shall encourage an increase in collaborations and exchanges in diverse forms, all aimed at the ultimate goal of bettering the lives of young students in Macao.
